Valuations
McLeod Wright have been preparing valuations for secured lending on residential and commercial premises for many years and have a wide knowledge of the central and north Essex area gained through their active commercial agency department.
These reports, which cover both residential and commercial properties are normally requested by Building Societies, Banks and other lending institutions who fund properties to purchase. In such cases the lender will usually require a report to ensure that it provides a sound security, without significant defects, and correctly valued.
A valuation report, however, is based on a cursory inspection sufficient for the above purposes, but does not carry any significant liability with regard to structural condition and defects.
